Dear Friends,

my name is Maliwan Soller. It is my great pleasure to invite you to make a contribution to the Bodhi Vihara Buddhist monastery in Freising on the occasion of my 50^th birthday (1 January 2010) and to celebrate New Year’s Day.

.

The monastery is located on Cathedral Hill – Domberg – and has three resident monks. One monk is a native German from Freising, and the other two come from Burma and the Czech Repulic. They are comitted to sharing the teachings of the Buddha to the local people and those who come from the region. They offer Budhist study classes, meditation instructions, guide the people with good advice and also practise the ancient Buddhist tradition of going for alms round with their bowls through the streets of this beautiful Bavarian town, accepting the offerings of food from good hearted donors just like in my home country Thailand.

.

Because of the lack of financial means (for rental costs, health insurance, daily expenses and for the printing of teaching material), I would like to render support for them here in Freising.

.

I would be overjoyed, if you could join me in supporting this noble and worthy cause.
