Today (Uposatha new moon) we took a group of meditators in the evening to a hill with trees in Freising to meditate. There is a spring there which was supposed to have been opened by the psychic power of St. Corbinian (the one who had a bear as his helper — this reminds me of the life of Ajahn Mun) and has a nice atmosphere. This event took place around the year 700 so there is a lot of history behind it. It should be cooler there compared to our small house on cathedral hill.
